Powerful questions yield powerful results. In order to shift your mind in to a state of possibility, I’ve listed out some questions to sit in. Don’t overthink it, just go with your first response and have fun with it.

  • What did you want to be when you grew up?

  • What do you spend all of your free time doing? What do you choose to fill your time with?

  • If you had all the time, money and resources, what would you do with your life?

  • What do you wish you had more time for?

  • What do you lose track of time doing?

  • What would your 8 year old self be sad to learn about you now?

  • What are your core values? What do you believe in?

  • Everything can suck sometimes – no path is obstacle free & perfect. What will give you so much joy that you are willing to sacrifice and push past to make it happen?

  • When in your life have you experienced pure joy? Describe those moments. What were you doing?

  • If you only had a year to live, what would you want to do? What would you regret NOT doing?

  • If you didn’t care what anyone thought, what would you do?

  • Why do you want to find out your purpose? What will that mean for you? How will you feel on a day to day basis living that? How can you step in to that feeling NOW?

NOW – find the through line. Are there any themes that present themselves? Anything that could be grouped in to categories such as creative or service or even around your beliefs? Time to map it out!
